TrustAlert started in 2001 as a company focusing solely on selling managed firewalls and managed IDS as an OEM solution.
Supplying not just the software and hardware but also the actual service, TrustAlert was one of the pioneers in providing centrally managed and web interface based access to the customer to relevant performance and reporting data as well as configuration options.
Early 2002 our current CTO envisioned future (global) solutions making use of all the advantages of classic PKI solutions, but without the administrative downsides.Firmly believing in the future of such a unique solution, TrustAlert began actual development of its automated short life certificate solution in 2003, and commercially went to market in 2006.
Nowadays TrustAlert has abandoned all its Managed IDS & Firewall solutions and solely focuses on extending its short life certificate solution to different (mobile) platforms.
